Getting to Liverpool


Manchester Airport (MAN)

Manchester Airport is 45 miles from central Liverpool and has many long-haul routes into the area from outside the UK and Europe. A train service runs between Manchester Airport and Liverpool Lime Street Station, which takes approximately 1 hour 12 minutes.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL)

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 9 miles from Liverpool’s city center and offers many inbound UK and European routes. Liverpool is best reached by taxi or the express bus, directly outside the entrance to the airport terminal.


Manchester Airport (MAN)

By Train: The train from Manchester Airport Station to Liverpool Lime Station usually takes around 1 hour and 15 mins. Trains run approximately every 15 minutes and many one-way fares are under £10. This link can be used to book a train in advance: 


On your arrival at the Liverpool Lime Street Station, a black cab/Uber ride from the train station to the INNSiDE by Melia hotel is approximately 6 minutes or walking time to the hotel is approximately 20 mins. 


By Rideshare/Cab: Uber is available from the airport, as are black cabs.  The ride from the Manchester airport to the hotel in Liverpool is approximately 45 minutes.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL)

By Bus: The Line 500 bus from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to central Liverpool takes approximately 40 mins.  Busses operate every 30 minutes between 4am and Midnight.

By Rideshare/Cab: Uber is available from the airport, as are black cabs.
